- Hired or otherwise accountable to an organization to write documentation for its users
- Those users can be customers or internal customers
- Wants what they write to benefit the community and the community to benefit them. Documentation will be specific to the organization's needs, but branding or organization-specific info would be ripped out/put back in as needed
- Wants to improve the community or processes
- Wants to encourage a culture of openness and community participation within the organization
Attitudes
- Knowledge of the project: high, having been hired or otherwise become a member of the organization because of their knowledge level
- Experience with writing: high, same as above.
Behaviors
- Accountable to the organization for deliverables (the end product of documentation) so therefore behaves in accordance with the organization's goals
- Goals of the organization and the community are assumed to be in line
- High degree of sharing of best-practices and writing
- Attribution given to individual community members/community as a whole
- Is writer going to stay with the project after paid/accountable work is done? If not, has the writer handed it off their role to someone in the organization and/or the community?
