We have lots of sources to draw from to develop editorial style guides for tech docs. I propose to collect some and develop a generic guide for others to base their specific ones on. Any leads, links to existing ones welcome. Any items you always wished were in a guide? Maybe a guide for style guides is needed? Usually when I make a style guide, I include brief audience & rationale info. Starting assumption will be that generic guide is for English (cuz I can't do other languages). Is this a problem?
