I like the idea! Were you thinking of a page in the forum or a page in the web site?

I was thinking a page on the site itself. A post in the forums would just get buried. Basically something like the People page, with our yummy icons, perhaps with a blurb and contact details for each team. (For that matter, it would be nice if the People page displayed a blurb about each person.)

That was kind of my intention in starting the "FLOSS communities seeking writers" thread --- say who you are, what you're doing, and why people should join you. I didn't want to be the first to reply to my own thread, but nobody else has taken the hint.

I'd like to add a new content type to create projects and then each user can have a select list to pick which ones they are associated with (and users can add new projects). That way we can list a user's projects on their profile and we can display the projects and list which users are associated with it.

I can go ahead and get that started, but real quick, what info for a project do we want?
